Oil Production Exceeding 14 KKKS's Target

A total of 14 contractors Cooperation Contract has surpassed oil production targets in 2009.

As quoted from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas site, Sunday (7 March 2010), KKKS it is PT Medco E & P Indonesia (Tarakan), JOB PN-Talisman (OK) Ltd., Citic Seram Energy Ltd., VICO Indonesia, Santos (Madura Offshore) Pty Ltd, PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia, ConocoPhillips Indonesia, PetroChina International Bermuda, Kodeco Energy Co. Ltd., Chevron Indonesia Co., JOB PN-Costa International Group Ltd., Total E & P Indonesie, ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc. and PT Medco E & P Indonesia.

The highest achievement has been achieved by Santos (Madura Offshore) Pty Ltd is able to produce or 192.56 percent of 2388 barrels per day of the 1950 target barrels per day. Kodeco Energy Production Co., Ltd. reached 14,954 barrels per day or 160.11 percent of the 9340 target barrels per day.

Has been described as well, the national oil production in 2009 has reached 98.91 percent of the target 960 thousand barrels per day set by the government. Of the total production of 619,450 thousand barrels per day is targeted, to 14 KKKS it has successfully achieved a total production of 662,456 thousand barrels per day.

Despite successfully exceeded targets, BPMIGAS still will conduct surveillance and strict control of the contractor 14. And expected, performance can be maintained, even KKKS can encourage others to increase production in 2010, so the production target of 965 barrels of oil per day can actually be realized.

9. Kodeco Energy Co. Ltd. 9340 Barrel per day production target, the realization of 14,954 Barrel per day or 160.11 per cent of the target.
